Desk is made of black cherry, hard maple for the drawers, and poplar for some secondary wood. Bottom file drawer is on
blind full extension glides and has built in file folder supports. The small 'cubby' drawers have a small lip overlay and
hand turned pulls.The tambour is made up of 21 moulded slats and joined by a cable system. The finish is a short oil
varnish with a dark mahogany stain over a cherry dye. The decorative glass panel bookcase doors lift up and slide back
for access and have handmade exposed brass guides at the ends of the door guide pin channel.
